The Anchor Inn is situated alongside the River Wye, with the stunning backdrop of Tintern Abbey. Set in extensive grounds, the Inn dates back to the twelfth century and was originally a cider mill and grain store for the abbey itself. Additions to these two buildings were constructed in the 19th century to house the kitchen, a function room was added in the 1950’s and the garden room has been recently completed.

The menu offers an interesting range of local produce along with all the pub favourites and locally brewed ales and ciders. There is a large car park and the beautiful garden also has a children’s play area.
